Member Support Manager – Central Region (Oxford to Sheffield)

We’re on the lookout for a Member Support Manager to join our collaborative and ambitious client for an inital 12-month maternity cover contract.
In this role, you’ll act as thefirst point of contact and trusted advisorto independent retail members across the Central region roughly spanning from Oxford up to Sheffield. You’ll be instrumental in onboarding new members, deepening existing relationships, and helping members maximise the commercial benefits of the products, services, and support available.
What you’ll be doing:
Actively support, engage and retain a diverse range of members
Champion the benefits of membership, including stock offers, services, and own-brand promotions
Onboard new members with a structured and supportive approach
Evaluate member satisfaction and provide feedback to help shape future strategy
Build strong relationships with members, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
Travel frequently within the region to member premises and group meetings
Contribute ideas to improve communication, service delivery and group engagement
What you’ll bring:
Experience in a membership-based or relationship-driven B2B role
Confidence and credibility to work with independent business owners from varied backgrounds
Excellent communication, influencing and relationship management skills
A commercial mindset and a genuine passion for supporting independent businesses
Comfort with working autonomously and managing your own diary
A full, clean UK driving licence (travel is a key part of the role)
