We have a new vacancy available for a recently (or soon to be) Engineering Graduate to join our client in their Design team.
Our client have an excellent reputation and have a strong hold on their market so they have a huge amount of projects in the pipeline. The position is diverse and covers a broad range of duties, from installation of bespoke electronic controllers to learning new software and assisting a Design team. The role is incredibly niche and so would suit a recent Graduate who has a passion for all things Engineering.
The role will offer plenty of scope to further develop and ultimately with guidance from a Technical lead, you will become a pivotal point of contact within the business for your knowledge and wisdom when it comes to the commissioning of the controllers.
Your time will be split, working as part of a Design Engineering team, as well as being the lead contact for any troubleshooting required by customers.
An interest in mechanical, electrical, CAD, software is required.
What we are looking for:
An Engineering qualification Degree / HNC / HND / (other qualifications considered)
A good grasp of IT - experience of Network administration or IT Support in a previous role is a huge advantage
Excellent communication skills
An enthusiasm to learn and develop a role into your own
A desire to work for a progressive company who are willing to invest in you
Strong IT acumen – intermediate/ advanced Excel skills.
Highly accurate with a meticulous eye for detail.
Ability to work on own initiative, and to progress multiple work streams concurrently.
