We’re looking for an Order Operations Manager to join a growing business supplying bespoke products nationwide. This is a pivotal role, sitting at the heart of all aspects of the supply function, Sales, Production, and Logistics.
You’ll make sure every order is managed and processed accurately, on time, and in full. A single detail missed can cause delays and disrupt trust so this role is all about getting it right first time, ensuring the smooth flow of operations and an excellent experience for customers.
Key areas of the Order Operations Manager role:
Order Processing
Process all customer orders within agreed timeframes
Cross-check product codes, measurements, fabrics, colours, and delivery details
Liaise with Sales to resolve missing or incorrect information
Enter details accurately into internal systems
Purchase Order Management
Create and issue POs to factories and suppliers with accurate ETAs
Place POs in time to meet customer delivery schedules
Monitor inbound goods and proactively chase late deliveries
Report and flag delays to maintain visibility
Order Amendments & Replacements
Process changes, corrections, or replacements quickly and accurately
Keep clear audit trails for every amended order or PO
Communicate updates with Sales, Production, Customer Service, and Transport
Production & Transport Coordination
Provide reliable delivery dates to Production Scheduling
Create electronic T-cards for the Transport Scheduler with correct information
Notify teams of any changes that could impact delivery
Data Accuracy & Process Improvement
Maintain zero-tolerance for data entry errors
Look for opportunities to improve manual processes and system efficiency
Communicate clearly with suppliers and colleagues to reduce mistakes

✔ Proactive problem-solver you spot issues early and take ownership to resolve them
✔ Comfortable with order processing systems, data entry, and tracking
✔ Able to work to deadlines and juggle multiple priorities effectively
