We’re seeking a Production Scheduler to join our Derby team and play a key role in keeping our manufacturing operation running smoothly.
This role is all about planning, organisation, and attention to detail. You’ll be responsible for scheduling production jobs, tracking progress, and making sure everything flows from order through to completion. As the bridge between sales, production, and logistics, you’ll ensure customers receive their products on time and in full.
What You’ll Be Doing
Plan and schedule production orders to meet customer delivery dates.
Review incoming sales orders and allocate resources accordingly.
Monitor progress of jobs through the factory, resolving any bottlenecks.
Liaise with procurement, operations, and logistics to keep schedules aligned.
Maintain accurate data in scheduling systems to ensure visibility for the wider business.
Update teams with changes to production priorities or delivery expectations.
Contribute to continuous improvement of scheduling and workflow processes.
About You
✔ Previous experience in production scheduling, planning, or manufacturing coordination.
✔ Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
✔ Confident communicator, able to liaise effectively with different teams.
✔ Comfortable using production planning or ERP systems (training provided if needed).
✔ Detail-focused, proactive, and solutions-driven.
