​A new role is now available for a qualified candidate who holds an interest in Engineering. Working in a quality arena of a well run manufacturing site, this opportunity will see you work with the rest of the team to ensure all products conform to the necessary standards. This will involve Goods In monitoring, Process Inspection and Product Auditing as well as relevant testing when required. The great thing about this opportunity is that it is a new role designed by the team as the quality department expands which will in turn provide fantastic development opportunities.

With lots of training offered on this role we are looking for someone who has a meticulous approach to all they do. A love for all things technical is important, we would also be looking for a candidate who has a relevant Engineering qualification OR someone who has previously worked within a Quality or Inspection team before.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Inspect goods to ensure product quality is maintained.

  • Investigate any internal failures and establish root causes reporting findings

  • Liaise with suppliers regarding non-conformities and ensure items are returned for replacement or credit

  • Carry out product audits

  • Assisting the quality department with day to day running of the department

  • Regular activity on the MRP and internal database

Key skills and experience we are looking for to succeed in this role:

  • Good MS Office experience

  • An appreciation for all things technical and engineering

  • Capable of reading or interpreting technical drawings and related documents.

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Methodical in approach

  • A team player working well in a department
