​​We have a new vacancy now available for a Technical Engineer to join a specialist premier supplier for work-holding accessories to the CNC machine tool OEM's, Importers and Users throughout Europe. The role will be within a division that focuses on supplying to the UK and Ireland markets.

The role of Technical Engineer will include the following duties:

  • CAD design of parts and assemblies in 2D and 3D

  • Draughting of 2D manufacturing drawings

  • Assisting in general assembly

  • Provide technical support and training to sales personnel, service personnel, distributors and end users as required

  • Visit customer and supplier sites as required

  • Produce technical documentation

  • Coordinate the specification, design, supply and support of non-standard parts and special projects

  • Provide costings and quotations for non-standard parts are special projects

  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure parts are supplied to meet the required functions, quality and delivery dates

  • Project manage

  • Attend trade shows and open house events

To be considered it is important that you have the following skills and experiences:

  • Engineering degree in any specialism is an advantage

  • Minimum qualification - Mechanical/Engineering HNC

  • 3D CAD experience

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Understanding modern manufacturing techniques

  • Ability to multi-task

  • To work under pressure, within budgets and delivery times

The role is full time M-F. Based in spacious offices offering free parking on site.
