A Communications and Marketing Team are looking to add to their team by hiring a Project Manager on an initial 6 month basis working part time, 3 days a week (22.5hrs per week) working from home.

So what is the role?

Our Website Project Manager will work closely in partnership with a pre-existing website agency to oversee the delivery of five new websites.

With the website agency doing all the technical development work – you will be responsible for project managing the project from end to end. You will be very experienced in using content management systems, be a confident writer, excellent communicator and stakeholder manager.

This role will include developing a statement of requirements with key internal stakeholders, information gathering, project management and writing. You will work with the technical agency to agree wireframes and oversee the web design. Content writing and assembly of the communications programme will be a core part of your role.

You will be a confident, experienced communications professional who is excited by running website projects.

Other key aspects of the role will include:

  • Deliver x5 new websites as part of the organisation's growth plan

  • Plan content and overhaul existing website layouts

  • Project and stakeholder management

  • Content Management

  • SEO & Communications

We are looking for a candidate who has the following:

  • Track record in project managing and launching WordPress websites.

  • Ability to identify relevant opportunities to maximise impact online.

  • Ability to work to a plan, while realising spontaneous opportunities.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Flair for copywriting for web.
