We have a new position now available for a Compliance Engineer to join our client, a leading Design and Manufacturer who's headquarters are based near Salisbury.

In this role, you will work as part of a wider Technical Team but will take responsibility for overseeing that the products created and processes demonstrated. This will include defining and validating methods used in manufacturing as well as generating and maintaining procedures and instructions.

Some key responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee all aspects of testing and validation

  • Maintaining product compliance (including test reports, certificates, calculations, in-house testing)

  • Ensure information is fed back to the management team and appropriate actions are taken to achieve ongoing compliance and product sustainability

  • Continually develop and deepen compliance and product knowledge to act as a point of contact within the business for all compliance audits

  • Aim to ensure best practice is used ensuring all processes are fit for purpose

  • To write standard operating procedures, support training activates where required

Essential skills we are looking for

  • Engineering experience in a manufacturing or production environment

  • Risk assessment skills

  • Report writing ability

  • Decision making skills

  • Able to work unsupervised and to liaise with a wider technical team and department heads as and when required.
