A standout opportunity to grow your legal career

We’re working with a highly regarded and long-established law firm, known for its personal approach and commitment to legal excellence. With offices across the South of England and a strong track record in residential property, this forward-thinking firm is now looking to welcome a Conveyancing Assistant to their Residential Property team.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a passion for property law and strong administrative skills who is ready to develop their legal career in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

The Role

As Conveyancing Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting fee earners across a busy caseload of residential property transactions—from initial instruction through to completion. You'll help ensure a smooth and professional experience for clients at every step.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting conveyancers with end-to-end file management

  • Drafting and preparing key legal documents and correspondence

  • Communicating with clients, estate agents, lenders, and solicitors

  • Managing file opening/closure and maintaining case management systems

  • Completing post-completion tasks such as Land Registry applications

  • Adhering to compliance and regulatory requirements

About You

We’re looking for someone organised, proactive, and client-focused. Whether you’re bringing previous conveyancing experience or looking to take the next step in a legal support role, you’ll thrive in a team that values professionalism and attention to detail.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • Experience in a legal or conveyancing support role (desirable, not essential)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong time management and the ability to prioritise

  • A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach

  • Confidence with MS Office

  • A team spirit and the initiative to work independently when needed

What’s On Offer

  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package

  • Supportive, inclusive workplace culture

  • Investment in training, development, and career progression

  • Access to wellbeing resources and employee support programmes

  • A forward-looking firm committed to innovation and technology
