An exciting new role working for a prestigious family run organisation in the local area is now available. We are looking for a candidate who has a construction, or perhaps Trade Counter experience as you will be stepping into a Customer Sales and Account Manager role. The position will see you responsible for driving revenue growth and establishing strong customer relationships. As our client's Sales Manager, you will collaborate with the Directors to identify and pursue new business opportunities, build a robust pipeline and achieve achievable targets by effectively selling our products/services.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
Keeping in touch with the current customers to be on hand to assist with new enquiries, whilst identifying new business
Conduct demonstrations to showcase the features, benefits and value of product and services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business and requirement needs and providing tailored solutions.
Collaborate with the wider team and other departments
Manage the entire customer experience process, from initial contract to closing the deals, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the engagement.
Continually update and maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions
Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape
Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand networks / knowledge and generate new leads.
Collaborate with the Directors to provide feedback and insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning
Key skills and experiences required for this role:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build relationships
Strong presentation and persuasion skills to showcase product/services benefits.
Ability to work in a fast paced, target driven environment
Resilient, self-motivated, and results-oriented mindset
An interest in the construction or property industry is an advantage
The role will see you take control of a large customer database and instantly introduce yourself as their liaison for all future purchases. The role will require you to visit clients and because of that, their will be a company vehicle issued to you after six months.
