This role is critical in ensuring existing products run reliably, new data sources are added and utilising this data to produce modelling / predictive work.
Key responsibilities include:
Producing complex datasets for analysis team / BI tools
Maintain and develop Airflow stack
Developing ETL pipelines using a wide variety of sources
Creating & updating Redshift, MySQL and Athena destinations

Ability to work independently in a small team
Demonstrable experience working with complex datasets
A proactive and curious individual, constantly looking to improve their knowledge and enjoys learning new skills / pushing the boundaries of what is possible with our data
Can translate non-technical briefs into the optimal technical solution
Essential software knowledge includes: Python, Pandas Airflow, DAG authoring, Redshift, MySQL Postgras, AWS security best practices and GDPR, Docker, API's
The role is remote working with at least one day a week in the office. You would report to our client's CTO. Whilst it is not a requirement right now, the team is likely to expand, so there is an opportunity to mentor/coach the more junior team members.
The hours for the role are M-F 9am - 5pm, the role comes with a number of benefits including 25 days holiday.
