We are immensely proud to be recruiting on behalf of an action charity who are looking to add an ICT Officer to their small team based here in South Wiltshire.
The role:
Working under the supervision of the Head of ICT you will provide support to end users across the organisation. In this role, you will provide onsite and remote support to our client's UK staff, as well as to any of their overseas programmes.
In this role, you will form an integral part of a close-knit team responsible for supporting the infrastructure and security. The role of Information Management and ICT is vital in our client's mission to deliver their end goal.

Responsibilities
Assist end users in all aspects of ICT support
Maintain all ICT infrastructure (i.e networks, audio and video conferencing systems, backups etc.)
Monitor and investigate security alerts, and respond to information security incidents
Assist in the implementation of information security technical controls to help ensure that internal information security policies, and data protection laws are upheld
Maintain inventory of all ICT assets
Design and deliver ICT training to end users
Coordinate with in-country programme ICT teams and provide support, guidance, and training as required
In collaboration with the ICT team, propose new and innovative solutions to organisational challenges and make recommendations for continual improvement of systems and services
Any other duties allocated by the line manager or senior management following consultation with the post holder
Essential skills and experience
Microsoft 365 enterprise suite, including strong knowledge of SharePoint
Exchange Online
Microsoft Azure Active Directory
Existing experience of working in a similar position
Microsoft desktop operating systems (Windows 10 Pro+)
Microsoft Office desktop suite (2016/Microsoft 365)
Enterprise networks deployment and maintenance
File storage and backup
An understanding and experience in Windows Server 2012 or newer and associated services, including DHCP, Active Directory, and File Server
Good understanding of information security standards and practices in enterprise environments
Computer hardware assembly/disassembly
Ability to produce clear and concise documentation and to review and improve existing documentation
Excellent fault diagnosis and troubleshooting skills with logical and pragmatic thought processes
Excellent communication and listening skills
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
