A well-established UK manufacturer is looking for a reliable, organised, and hands-on Inventory & Supply Chain Manager to oversee the day-to-day logistics, inventory, and supplier operations. This is a small team environment, you’ll be managing two direct reports, so we're looking for someone who thrives in a practical role with responsibility.
This position would suit someone with experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management, ideally from a manufacturing or engineering background, and with solid working knowledge of MRP systems.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee inventory levels and maintain accurate stock profiles
Manage the MRP system to support production and fulfilment
Evaluate and mitigate supplier risks to ensure continuity of supply
Negotiate delivery schedules and schedules
Proactively monitor and chase outstanding purchase orders
Manage and compile relevant documentation (EU and global)
What We’re Looking For
Experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations
Confident with MRP/ERP systems and inventory control
Highly organised with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Demonstrated ability to manage and support a small team
Meticulous attention to detail
