We’re recruiting a Purchasing Assistant to join a well-established and supportive procurement team within a successful manufacturing business. This is a genuine opportunity to move from a general admin role into a career path with long-term potential no previous purchasing experience required, in fact what we need is someone with good old fashioned administrative skills who can work as part of a busy team taking on a variety of admin tasks.

What You'll Be Doing
Raising and managing purchase orders
Liaising with suppliers on lead times, availability, and pricing
Ensuring stock and materials are ordered in line with project schedules
Following up on deliveries and resolving any discrepancies
Supporting procurement with general admin and system updates
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in an administrative or coordinator role
Ideally from a manufacturing, construction, or commercial background
Comfortable using systems, Excel, and email
Confident working with numbers and managing deadlines
A proactive, can-do approach and a willingness to learn
Experience with ERP/MRP systems is a bonus, but not essential
