To summarise the role:
We are looking for an accomplished and motivated Sales Director for the UK & Ireland, reporting to the Group Chief Commercial Officer. This role involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans, building strong client relationships, and driving growth for premium audio brands.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Create and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet sales targets within key accounts and across retail and custom installation channels.
Account Management: Develop and sustain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and loyalty through focused events and marketing initiatives.
Revenue Growth: Discover new business opportunities within existing accounts and strategically expand the client base.
Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor a Business Development Manager, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Market Analysis: Stay ahead of industry developments by monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Reporting: Deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses to senior management.
Collaboration: Coordinate with marketing, customer service teams, and peers in other sales organisations to ensure alignment on goals and customer requirements.
Qualifications:
Experience: At least 5 years of sales experience in the audio industry or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role managing key accounts.
Skills:
Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in the UK audio market.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong negotiation and contract management abilities.
Strategic thinking with superb problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret market data and develop actionable strategies.
Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing sales team.
Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of audio products and industry trends.
Travel: Willingness to travel as needed for meetings with key accounts, attending industry events in the UK and internationally, and participating in Group meetings.
