The Sales Project Manager will be responsible for the project management of all the major sales projects within the UK and exporting markets. Strong business development and project management skills will see you develop new opportunities together with building on existing client relationships, cementing long term partnerships which will in turn enable the business t be the long term supplier of choice.
Your skills will enable you to review the company's products and processes, seeking ways to improve effectiveness, reduce waste and efficiently use resources delighting the customer and maximising business potential.
Some key responsibilities will include:
Responsible for project management of the major projects, including the line management of a Project Coordinator
Care of existing customers and development of new customers by offering technical support
Communicating with sales team and coordinating with the Technical, Design & Operations departments
Deal directly with customers, technical tender and specification issues
Constantly review departments systems and procedures in order to improve and efficiency as well as reducing waste
Preparation of project tenders, interpreting customer drawings and written specifications
Essential skills and experiences:
Mechanical engineering qualification / bias or background
Project Management experience - being able to manage projects from £250k - £5m
Experience of working within construction, M&E's, Government contracts, Architects
